Sivan Naor
Sivan is 29 years old and works as a Knowledge and Information Coordinator in "Yad Hanadiv- The Rothschild Foundation." She was born in Netania and over the past 10 years have lived in Kfar Saba, Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan. After working in Jerusalem for a couple of years, she moved with her spouse to Jerusalem with the two adorable cats.
She has been lucky to volunteer in many LGBT organizations: she was a youth counselor in "IGY", and was one of the founders of an LGBT student body in Bar Ilan University. Since 2007, she has been volunteering in Hoshen as a lecturer mostly in High Schools, trying to change attitudes towards the LGBT community. In addition she is currently building a Salesforce customer relationship management system for Hoshen.
She came to the JOH believing in its important role as a warm and accepting home for the LGBT community in Jerusalem. In Jerusalem, a diverse city, the importance of this kind of home is very high. She would like to see the Open House as a place where everybody can come in peace, find activities, groups, smiles and even just a cup of coffee.
